Description
In Tibetan culture the gesang is known as the flower of happiness. The story goes that whoever finds one finds good times ahead, which makes giving one a fairly direct move.
The bloom itself is simple and open, cosmos-style petals around a bright center. Easy company for fancier stems in a bouquet, or on its own in a bottle by the window.
Hand-crocheted in fourteen colors, and it stays in bloom for good.
Size: bloom ~10 cm, stem ~40 cm. Handmade, so sizes vary a little. Colors: fourteen shades, including White, Cherry pink, Jean blue, Khaki, Red, and Green.
Size & materials
Made from soft acrylic yarn with a hand-stitched finish. Each stem stands about 38 to 45 cm tall — roughly 15 to 18 inches — and bloom sizes vary by flower, from about 4.5 cm on the little daisy up to 10 cm on the lily and sunflower. Every piece is slightly unique because each one is made by hand.
Care
Spot-clean with a damp cloth and mild soap, then air dry. Reshape gently with your fingers. Keep away from direct sunlight to preserve colors.
